The NHS suggests e-cigarettes (vape) as an alternative to smoking as it delivers nicotine in the form of vapour. This allows you to inhale nicotine without most of the harmful effects of smoking, as the vapour contains no tar or carbon dioxide. It also replicates the hand to mouth habit.

 

As research on vaping is limited many people who have used this as an interim alternative solution want to be rid of this habit too, as they are unsure of the long term health effects.
