Our perspective of reality can be particularly skewed by images in magazines and influencers on TV and social media. As a result many of us struggle with our perceived view of our own bodies, often not liking what we see when we look in the mirror. Our perception of ourselves can be quite different to how others see us, and regardless of compliments we can become unhappy and anxious.
