Have you ever been told by someone that you should consider anger management? It is very natural to feel angry from time to time. The key thing is knowing how to deal with our anger in a constructive way.

Anger channelled inappropriately can create all sorts of problems that can affect our relationships and employment amongst other things.

 

When we show anger it can come from a perceived threat or fear. When this is the case we are responding with a ‘fight’ response. We experience physical changes where our heart beats faster, our breath is quicker and tension is felt in areas of our body, this is because we are preparing to take action.
